'Manilla's MEN in MARBLE'
A WW1 Centenary Publication

"Manilla's MEN in MARBLE" pays tribute to 400 young Manilla men who went away between 1914 and 1918 to fight for King and Empire. Through photographs, letters and articles, the book gives life to the
hundreds of names etched into the marble panel in front of the MANILLA & DISTRICT SOLDIERS' MEMORIAL HALL. The book was launched by Lt. Col. Damien Drain
on Saturday August 2nd 2014, 100 years on from the Commencement of World War 1 Hostilities..
