A major publication to mark the Centenary of the start of WW1. Compiled by historians Denis Creer and Shirley Coote with assistance from Doris Wheeler, "Manilla's MEN in MARBLE" pays tribute to 400 young Manilla men who went away between 1914-1918 to fight for King and Empire. Through photographs, letters and articles, the book gives life to the hundreds of names etched into the marble panel in front of the MANILLA & DISTRICT SOLDIERS' MEMORIAL HALL.
